Whilst there are some people in Baghdad who actually do deserve to live life tough and in a rough way for as long as they live for the terrible and despicable things that they have done to other people in the past and recent times, the people who do not deserve a single luxury in life nor do they deserve any form of entertainment. Some of these people are the reasons behind Baghdad being in such a bad way, they are the reasons behind the conflict, they were a part of the problem to begin with. It is unfortunate that these people will get to enjoy themselves and go to these kinds of places even though they have put the people of Baghdad through so much in the first place. It is good to see that they are getting their lives back, it is just bad to see that not all the right people are getting to enjoy the rewards of the place slowly returning to a more stable state of normality.

Yeah i guess you are right about that there, there are some people who will get to enjoy themselves playing bingo and poker there that do not really have any right to do so, they hurt people but do not seem to be getting any kind of punishment for their actions at all. It is not fair but that is just the way that it all goes, life is not always fair, i guess you could even say that life itself is a gamble. This would not be the only case of guilty kinds of people getting away not only scott free but also getting off and being able to enjoy their lives with no punishment for the horrible things that they have done in the past. Look at all of the war criminals from back in the day who are elderly now and yet have never been charged or punished for their crimes. They are a good example of how justice seems to look the other way when it is convienient for them.

Whilst all of this would have to be true as surely there are some guilty people who have not been caught for their crimes yet and are still walking around as free men and women, i do think that it would be safe to say that the majority of the Baghdad population are not guilty at all and that the Baghdad public are innocent by standers to all of the chaos that has been taking place around them over the course of the last few years. Whilst we can not really point the finger of blame at any particular person or group, it is a well known fact that can not be denied that it takes more than one person or group to start such chaos, if there is a war there must be two people or groups to be fighing against one another, we are too quick to forget this, there is more to the devastation that has rocked Baghdad than we acknowledge, yes there are many civilians of Baghdad who have been devastated by the conditions there, but it was not just one group that we can point the finger at, we must also point the finger at the group that they were fighting with in the first place.

The world these days is one that seems to revolve around terror and chaos. Where once upon a time countries would simply get their leaders together to talk out and sort out their differences now a days the trend is to talk with weapons and warfare instead of words, no matter how much you say this is not the case i think that all of the fighting that is currently happening all over the world between countries will speak for itself. Baghdad is no exception to this. Something that may seem like a common everyday thing to us, such as a casino, can mean so very much when almost everything else in your life seems to be so bleak and hopeless as it surely would have felt like to those people of Baghdad. I am not condoning anything that has happened there and i am not pointing blame at anyone for what the people of Baghdad have been through, but i am pointing out that we take for granted things such as casinos and our freedom, when places like this live in constant fear that their actions, how ever harmless and small they may be, may get them killed. We need to start respecting our country more and loving it, we are much luckier than so many others in the world.

Do they deserve what they have had to go through? No not really. But i can understand why they have had to go through it. I am sorry for anyone who is offended by this but in my eyes it is rather simple, there were people in Baghdad who were very real threats to other countries as well as being threats to Baghdad, These are people with no respect or regard for human life what so ever, people who do not care if they hurt any innocent people in the crossfire, in fact these are the kinds of people who enjoy killing the innocent and slaughtering anyone who has an opposing opionion to that of their own. They are dangerous people who would bomb others and themselves, use chemical weapons and what ever else they wanted to do without even so much as a second thought. These are the kinds of people who need to be stopped because they will not stop on their own accord, they must be killed in order for the threat that they pose to be eliminated. This may sound extreme but when you look at the devastation that they have caused it is easy to see why these measures must be taken.

Yes i do agree with you on that, i can understand why the fighting had to happen in the first place. The thing that is so scary about the world these days is that in some parts, the leaders of the countries can not even keep order, the leaders seem to have no power anymore, they are losing control of their country and the are fighting a battle against militants that they never seem to be winning. If you put yourself into a similar position then you would see the world through eyes that you may never have imagined it to be, some times i think some of us are just ignorant or not wanting to accept that the world is full of chaos in these war torn countries. If you close your eyes and imagine sleeping at night to the sounds of gunshots and bombs, imagine being scared every time that you go to the market and trying to get your shopping done as quickly as you possibly can with the fear the a suicide bomber will come out of no where and blow him or her self up in the middle of the market, killing and maiming hundreds. Imagine being frightened that one days soldiers will just storm your house and slaughter your family for no reason, imagine being held captive by extremists in your home because they want somewhere to hide out, when you imagine having to live through such things then i think that you would be able to see how the re opening of a casino could bring with it so much joy and excitement and a feeling of renewed hope that life will one day be peaceful again,.
