He played well but i bet he was disappointed this year when Joe Cada stripped him of his crown as the youngest World Series of Poker Main event champion especially when you take into consideration the fact that there was only One Year between them.. That would be annoying for me lol.

Yes having the crown for only a year would have been pretty nasty and i wouldn't have liked to be stripped of the title so soon either but oh well that's the way it goes, just goes to show that there a quite a few young and skilled poker players starting to come out of the woodworks these days, very impressive and good at what they do. And surely with time and more playing these young guns will only get better and better.

I actually remember in pretty good detail watching that tournament right down to the end of it, it was great and intense at the same time, then again all world series of poker main events are i guess but it is people like Eastgate who give the younger poker enthusiasts around the world hope that they can make it and they aren't too young and inexperienced to be great, it teaches that age shouldn't be and isn't a barrier and that they shouldn't let anyone tell them that they can't achieve something just because of their young age.

It was watching the main event of the World Series of Poker and seeing Eastgate be victorious and achieve that title that actually got my nephew into playing poker and if i may say so myself he is playing really well, i cringe whenever he asks me to play against him for some practice because to be frank i get whooped lol. He and Cada are inspirations to all poker players out there, they and all the other winners of the WSOP main events are living examples of the fact that hard work and dedication do pay off in the end and that dreams can come true.

They are inspirational in heaps of ways and not just because of their ages or anything like that but they also show that even when people are against you (those who are very anti-gambling in their mind set) you can still accomplish your dreams no matter how much these people try to tear you down and try to make it hard for you to succeed, i use people who try to stand in my way as a form of motivation, the harder they try to stop me the more it makes me want to succeed just to spite them lol.

I think that there is one really great aspect of poker that many people easily overlook without meaning to and that aspect is the diverse age ranges that can not only make a name for themselves in the industry but also the ages that players can be crowned as professionals and champions, it is in poker where you can get someone who would be considered elderly for being in their sixties or so as becoming the champion and you can get someone who is just old enough to legally play being crowned near their twenties, this is one of very few industries where both the younger generations and the older generations have equal opportunity and chances to compete for and achieve the one goal.

With all the new talent in the poker world coming out with every passing day it will only be a matter of time before the title is taken from cada and handed over to someone else yet again, may even be next year who knows. These players are great and it's amazing to see them achieving such feats as this at such young ages. They will be set for life before they are even in their 40's if they continue to play like they have been and are. They keep it up and they will never have to lift a finger when it comes to employment ever again so long as they spend their money in the right ways and responsibly. They are inspirational and just show us that it can happen to anyone, you just have to believe in yourself, practice, work hard and always try to achieve it no matter how impossible it may seem.

Every year there are fresh new faces that we see for the very first time in the World Series of Poker. Do not get me wrong, obviously these players are not inexperienced when it comes to poker, they just have not been in such a high profile, live and televised tournament such as the World Series of Poker before so they are new to us, the spectators. These players not only give us all something to be proud of when it comes to the popularity and exposure of the poker world but they also give us and our friends and family members the opportunity to see first hand that any one can be a poker professional no matter what their age is so long as they work to achieve their goals and stick to it.

Young or old it does not matter really, every single poker player who has ever won the main event of the World Series of Poker is a great poker player who will be remembered for ever for their accomplishment. Today when there is so much technology and information available especially when it comes to the internet, the whole world can access all sorts of information no matter how long ago it happened which makes it great to know that these people who have become champions will be always remembered on the internet even when we are all long gone. What is so great is that all of these young poker professionals who win the WSOP were inspired by older poker pros and yet these young champions go on to inspire a new generation of even younger poker players. These young players are living the dream and doing what many of us only wish we were able to do. It is great to see so many young people getting involved in poker which only up until recent times was considered to be a game for the oldies lol.

Eastgate played well and worked hard to get the title of youngest champ but he had to have known all along that there was a good chance that his title would be taken from him the following year. He himself knew of the great new young flesh talent that was coming into the poker world and it was only a matter of time that the title was taken by a younger player. I do think that 2010 could see the title be handed over to another young gun yet again. Every single year the players are getting better and better and younger and younger in the World Series of Poker, although those that would be considered veterans of the World series of Poker are actually not really old or anything like that at all as when it comes to most of them they are only in their 30's.
