Didn't this all happen actually quite a fair while ago and a fair while i mean around last year some time and if so is this banning or blocking what ever you want to call it still in place? And why did they block them in the first place since they were obviously allowed to play before then? I bet you some residents must be getting annoyed with being able to play and then being blocked and then getting excited about being able to play again only to get annoyed again with finding yourself once again blocked. How do they block them anyway? What if someone just lies about where they live in the registration process?

I think that they blocked the residents because the fact that online gambling was illegal in that state i am pretty sure. I am not sure if they are still blocked but considering that i am not currently aware of any change of the state law in regards to the practice of online gambling i assume that they probably still are blocked but that probably won't stop some players, they will find another way to play, microgaming isn't the only network out there that offers online poker so the real poker loving players who enjoy their online gameplay would simply just go off and find another site to play at.

I think that it was all because of a state law in my opinion. I cannot see any other possible reason for a online poker network to go and block, remove and disallow for people from certain areas to hold accounts at their online poker sites, it wouldn't make any sense for them to do it without a good reason so it must be legal reasons for sure, otherwise they would be losing money and online poker sites survive because they make money and not because they just hand it out or effectively throw it away which is exactly what would be happening if they were blocking people for no good reason.
