They always seem to be building bigger and better and more out there sort of casinos all the time. Ultimately they are all in competition with one another and the bigger and better or just plain unusual a casino looks, even if only on the exterior, the more people they expect the casino to bring in to gamble. Say for example you had two casinos beside one another, one casino was single storey with a sign that says casino and a few streetlights outside to light up the footpath and a few lights on the doorway and the building had dark tinted windows and was painted tree bark brown. The casino beside this one had multiple storeys to it, flashing lights, big neon signs and was a beautiful white building with clear windows where you could see everyone inside having a great time and the whole place was lit up outside. Which one would you rather go into? The plain boring looking one or the big pretty attention grabbing one? I rest my case.

I would rather go to a casino that was exciting to look at, if it is an exciting kind of adventure to just so much as look at it then surely it must be just as exciting at least if not better to go inside there and play a few hands or a few slots. And i don’t think that you can get more exciting than replica casinos, they just look so great and unique ironically enough, even though they are built as gambling replicas of icons that can be found all over the world. I would love to see something like a casino built to look like a pirate ship or something where all the staff are dressed as pirates and wenches and stuff like that, it’d be great i reckon, could have a few special jackpot events like walk the plank or stuff like that, it’d be awesome.

I think that this was a different approach to the whole replica idea. They have replicas of pyramids and statue of liberty and all of those well known worldly things but this is the first time that i know of that they have built a replica casino of an Olympic icon. A nice change i think. I still won’t be going to it though unless i win big in some tournaments or hit the jackpot in first division lottery or something like that because otherwise that is too much money to spend just to go see a casino, and that’s not even including the money that i would need to have to be able to spend money in the actual casino. They would interest me more if there were any near me and if i was on holiday there or if it was closer to my home town then i would definitely go to check it out.

It is very much astonishing just how much money these casinos cost to build. But i guess that it would only take them a few months to a year at the very most to make back their money in the end though wouldn’t it. I guess that the whole point of these casinos is for them to make as much money as they possibly can and to make money they do need to spend it first to make sure that the place is appealing to the eyes of those potential gambling customers. No one wants to go and spend their money gambling in some run down looking little outdated shack of a casino, they all want something big and exciting and modern.

Does any one else consider it to be a little bit strange and even a little bit ironic that the world is currently experiencing, as the media have labelled it, a global economic crisis, and yet we are still seeing more and more new casinos popping up across the globe. I’m sorry to sound so cynical but i do not believe that the global economic condition can be too bad if they are still able to be building these casinos. If there was no demand for them and no chance that they would draw people to come into them and gamble then they would not be bothering with wasting their money by building them so there definitely must still be a large market for gambling in the casinos. It all seriously makes me wonder just how serious the economic conditions really are.

The global economic crisis is real, the world is in trouble deeply when it comes to money but there are some parts of the world that are suffering much more than others and some that are barely experiencing any of it at all. I don’t question how bad or serious the economic conditions are myself. But i do know for a fact that the economic strains are real, look at how many American banks have closed their doors, how many American companies that once flourished are now bankrupt and either being taken over by larger companies or just shutting down business for good, how many American citizens have lost their jobs and their American dream way of life, there is no denying what these people are having to go through. It is sad to see though that in a time when many people around the world are struggling to make ends meet there are those that sit there all day long and gamble all their paycheck away week after week but still lay the blame on the casinos, the new casinos being built are a good thing though, they create more jobs and in these tough times we need the unemployment rate to be as low as we can get it.
