Jean Robert Bellande is known not only for being a sponsored Bodog pro player but also for competing in the reality show "Survivor: China" but the pro is now no longer sponsored by Bodog which was announced by a representative of the online poker room. The contract between Bellande and Bodog casino reached its expiration date at the end of October is was not renewed. At this current point in time, there are only three Sponsored Pro players featured on the Bodog casinos website despite text being found on the website stating that there are four sponsored pros, these three confirmed sponsored pro player are Evelyn Ng, David Williams and Justin "Zee Justin" Bonomo. The poker manager of the poker room spoke to the News Daily and was reported as saying " It has been an absolute pleasure having Jean-Robert as one of Bodog.com’s Poker pros and we wish him all the best."
In feburary 2009, the company which represents Bellande was boasting that the pro player had renewed the sponsorship agreement with bodog and Bellande also made comments stating " I am thrilled to continue my relationship with Team Bodog. Bodog is a fantastic organization and I am excited to continue with such a select team of world-class poker players."

Wow, I wonder which online poker site boasts the most sponsored pro poker players? Does anyone know of why Jean Robert Ballande is no longer sponsored by bodog or is there no particular reason? Do you think that this poker pro will be replaced by another sponsored pro on the bodog site or do you think that they will just leave it at three?

I am not really sure which online poker site boasts the highest number of sponsored poker pros on their site, would have to be one of the very popular, well known online poker sites like pokerstars or something like that. As for why Jean Robert Bellande did not get a renewed contract that is something which I personally not sure of at all but I do believe that it was simply a matter of no renewel and that there was no specific reasoning behind it, no bad blood or disagreements or anything like that just simply the end of a contract and no desire to renew it, it is not clear to me if bodog chose to not offer a new contract of whether one had been offered and Jean Robert Bellande had chosen not to renew it.
