2009 saw a heap of great poker players come to light, both veteren well known players, and new lesser known players who had just made their way out into the poker fame spotlight. The year was a great one for poker and there were plenty of surprises around pretty much every corner you looked, there were some great blunders and also some really great gameplay that saw new players to the big leagues of poker become launched into poker fame with their impressive displays of poker skills and abilities. I can only say that if this year is only just as good as last year was then it will be another great year for those of us who love poker. That's all i ask for.
