The swede playing by the name "Isildur1" took to the cyber felt of the online poker world to play against Team Full Tilter Mr Patrik Antonius. The two players played against each other tit for tat across a total of four $500/ $1000 heads-up deep pot limited omaha tables in a furious exhibition of online poker at its best. After a series of pots had been played, with the pots reaching amounts into the six figures, Antonius and Isildur1 went on to duke it out in what will be, if not for just now or a short time or possibly much longer, the largest online poker pot of all time. Antoius started with the big blind with $439,479.50 and Isildur1 was in posession of the button with $450.494.50. Isildur1 then opened the pot raising to $3000 and Antonius chose to call. Antonius was the first to act and checked the flop which allowed Isildur1 to bet $5000 for continuation. Antonius check raised to the tune of $21000 returning the action to Isildur1 who then called. When it came to 4th street, Antonius led out with a bet of $48,000 and Isildur1 then re-potted which bought the total to $192,000, this commited almost half of his remaining stack. Antonius then caused heads to spin by going all-in for $415.479.50 and after a small pause for decision making, Isildur1 then chose to make the call and thus creating the largest pot in online poker history to date with a total pot of $878,958.50. Now it was time to reveal the cards and it looked at first as though they would both get their cash back, chopping the pot with top two pair: Isildur1 had Ace spade, King spade, Queen diamonds, 10 Hearts- And Antonius had Ace hearts, Queen clubs, 9 Spades, 6 Hearts. As you are aware though, things aren't always as they may seem and things can often take an unexpected turn, especially in poker. Once the money hit the middle, Patrik had outs for a heart flush or any eight to get a straight where as Isildur1 could claim the pot having any non-heart king or jack. Fate was on Antonius's side and he spiked on the river managing to complete a gutshot straight to rake the pot.
Nice days work and all in the comfort of your own home!
