It is good seeing all of these new younger players in poker making it to the professional levels. These young new comers are deceptively good at the game and there’s no doubting that they will go far in the world of poker and tournaments. That college student that won the online tournament wouldn’t have to worry about any tuition fees ever again lol he’s set, he could even buy his own place, no dorms or anything for him from now on. So long as he knows what to do with his money. This year we will be seeing more players making it to the big leagues which should prove to be more and more interesting game play to watch over the next twelve months.

These younger players are inspiring for our youth of today and i think that parents should show these pro poker players to their teens rather than shun them for their gambling. Show the teens of today what you can achieve when you set your mind to something and truly have faith in yourself, when you work hard and try to achieve a goal that you set for yourself. Show the kids that when a heap of other guys his age would have been more interested in going to parties and stuffing around with friends and chasing after girls all of the time this guy sat and played poker online to not only become a champion but also become a millionaire and now that he has the skills to win something this big not only can he do it over and over but he can also have money for a long time, a sense of stability and have plenty of time later for parties and girls.

That is a good point, the youths of today, especially those that we see in some areas that are getting into trouble on a fairly regular basis, need someone to look up to. They need goals and they also need something to do with their free time instead of roaming the streets and hanging around the shopping centres shoplifting. I am not stereotyping the younger generation, i am pointing out that the youths that do participate in such negative behaviour as this are the ones that really need someone to sit them down and help point them in the right direction, help them make goals and help them achieve these goals. You do not just wake up and find that you have become a professional over night so don’t let them think that, but point out that with hard work and persistence they can achieve anything they set their mind to if they try and they believe in themselves.

I don’t think that people should be trying to shield their children from gambling at all, i think that we should be exposing them to it and educating the children all about gambling so that they can understand how it all works and hopefully have a better chance of knowing how to gamble in a responsible manner when they are of gambling age. If you teach them from a young age that they need to set limits for themselves and that the more that you play does not mean the more you win then they should be less likely to become gambling addicts themselves. These young poker pros and champions are good examples to show the children because these pro players gambled responsible and have been reaping the rewards of their smart gambling.
