Ok I am very confused and basically over all just plain lost about this whole thing. They are going to put these machines outside of poker rooms in the casino? What is the point if it has poker on it of putting it outside of a poker room? This just does not really make any sense to me but I may simply misunderstand the whole concept and point of it so if anyone can fill me in and explain it to me then please do lol.

Maybe it will be placed there for those people who find themselves conflicted as to whether they want to go into the poker room and play a few hands or venture back out to another area in the casino to place some bets on sporting or keno or other things such as that? This would be a really idea if that is what they are doing because this way they only need to walk to the door of the poker room and then place their bets and then walk back into the room to play a few hands of poker without having to take a whole heap of time out to walk to another area of the casino, i mean let's face it, they aren't small and it can take a while to make a trip.

I think that these portable games consoles will prove to be very worth the investment. They will generate extra revenue in my opinion because people will walk out place a bet on the machine and go straight back to the poker game in the poker room. Quick and easy, no need to go far, i am sure that this will prove to be a big hit among those who love to place a few bets on the sports and what not but don't like having to travel too far away from all the poker action going on at the poker tables. In the days where almost everything can be done on a computer or a mobile phone, this seems to be the next logical step in the casino world, every single day items are being modernized and even created with electronic functions, this is just another of those things in the evolution of casinos.

I think that maybe this portable games console very well could end up being the hero for all of the casinos, especially the smaller and not as popular style casinos, in Las Vegas. The machine could change the way that people look at putting their bets on, place a few spread out around the place and it will help to eliminate and lessen the queues at the counters for placing bets. I wonder if they will be planning on bringing them over here to australia to either implement them or just to try them out with the general public first to see if there is a market here for them? I would use one if i came across it just to see what it is like and to find out what all of the fuss is about. In a world where everyone seems to be in a rush to do things and everything seems to be getting smaller and smaller when it comes to phones and ipods and other electronics, it is about time that the poker industry found something that could revolutionise gambling in the casinos.

Will the implementation of a portable games console in the casinos of Las Vegas and other gambling hot spots around the world revolutionise the poker world and the casino and gambling industries? No i do not think that it will but it certainly will make it that little bit easier for people to essentially multi task, placing bets whilst heading off to play a few hands of poker. I do not know how popular it will be but considering these days people seem to be becoming more and more lazy i would have to assume that it actually will go down rather well because it will mean people do not need to walk so far anymore in order to place their bets. These days people would rather have to stand around and line up to go up the escalator so that they do not have to take the stairs, this is well documented in a photograph i found on the internet one day where they were at a subway or airport or something like that and there was a large line of people waiting to go up the escalator but the stairs were free with plenty of room to walk up since there were only 2 people taking the stairs. Do we need this technology in the industry? I am not sure but i do know it certainly will be used.

I am not so sure about whether it will be "revolutionary" to the poker industry but i agree that it will help to aide people in being lazier than what they already are these days. Is there any particular reason they decided to design this in the first place and any particular reason why the casinos have decided that they need it or is it purely because this way they can earn more money quicker in the sense that when people would not usually bet because they do not want to stray too far from the poker tables can now do so with only taking a few steps, therefore making them more likely to spend money on betting at other things such as sports rather than solely on poker.

A portable games console will be interesting to see and use and will make it even quicker and easier for those in the casino to place their bets without having to go too far away from the poker tables. I do not think that they really need these kind of things but like everything else that isn’t really a necessity in life these days, if it is there people will use it. People do not need to use an atm that is in the wall of a bank when the bank is open but they still do it anyway, they do it because it is there and convienient and that little bit easier than having to walk inside and go to a bank teller to do their transaction. I am still a little old fashioned in my belief that nothing beats going to a cashier to place your bets rather than a machine. And people seem to forget that machines are prone to technical failures and issues that people are not prone to. It will be used by people there is no questioning that but is it something that is going to be the best thing to come to casinos in recent times? I do not think that is the case. Just another pretty thing to look at in the casinos.

I would have to say that these types of machines being introduced into the casinos make me feel one main thing and thought which is why on earth would you want to use it when you are in a casino? Isn’t the idea of going to a casino to be around other people and play against other people and interact with other people? In my opinion if you wanted to use these electronic methods and devices to place your bets and what not instead of having to interact with real flesh blood and bones people then you should just be staying home and playing and betting on your computer online rather than making the trip to the casino, it has all the stuff you want and you do it all electronically, no people in sight.

I do not really go to any casinos in person, i like to play poker online at an online casino at home where i can dress as i please and eat at the table so to speak lol and i do not need to travel anywhere which in turn means i can drink without having to worry about whether or not i will be under the alcohol limit in order to be able to drive home. If i did go into a casino to play a few hands of poker, which i do from time to time every three months or so, then i personally would find myself using one of these portable games consoles but only because i am a little bit slack and i do not like lines and crowds, i do not like having to make my way through crowds which is something you need to do on a busy night at the casinos and lines are another thing to contend with, this machine would solve both of those problems for me.

The last thing this generation needs is more and more ways to be lazy. People these days are becoming nothing but slack and impatient and ungrateful. They are lazy, too lazy to clean or walk their pets, too lazy to take out the garbage, too lazy to get their kids out of the cars when they go grocery shopping. They are ungrateful for just how easy they have things today. They do not realise that there are many places in the world that do not have free education, some places do not even have education at all, medical care, government assistance, all of these things that these people today take for granted. They do not need yet another device that they can rely on instead of having to do something in a way which may take a couple of minutes longer. What is the world coming to these days? There are so many things that people are buying and using when these things aren’t even needed. People cooking popcorn in popcorn makers, they don’t realise you can do the same thing with a saucepan and a lid, it is things like this that just makes people more and more lazy. They would be screwed if they ever had to do things the old way, they would not have a clue where to begin. Now we have yet another object being added to the long list of things that serve to enhance how lazy we are.
