Is there any reason for taking this money from these online gambling sites other than because online gambling is considered to be illegal or anything like that? And what about if a resident of a state that prohibits the act of playing poker online is deceitful in their registration of an account to the site and does not accurately disclose their residential address such as stating that they live in another state, one where online gambling is not an issue, rather than the one which they really do physically reside in where the act of gambling online is considered to be an illegal activity? Who is prosecuted then and if it is the online gambling service provider that is punished for it then how is that fair when they weren't to know that the account holder lied in their registration.

I am not completely sure but i would have to assume that it would still be the online casino or gambling service provider that would get into trouble for it even though the customer has been dishonest in regards to their personal details when making and registering their account, i would assume that the government would simply just blame the gambling provider by stating that they should have had a better verification process in place in order to stop the system being stepped around in such an easy to do manner.

How do we actually know that all of the money that was seized was actually returned to the players in America in the first place? And how do they determine that all of the players who register as being in America actually are in America? I know and have heard of a few people playing and registering as being in America when actually they were in a whole different country and they did this purely because the sites that they were registering to and playing on didn't have an option there for their own country even though online gambling in their country is considered legal.

If they managed to seize that much money last time i wonder how much they will manage to get their hands on this time because every year, actually every day there are more and more people signing up to online poker sites both for play cash and for real cash, as days and weeks go by the population of these sites grows more and more in the hundreds and thousands, the majority of whom will probably start out with play money but ultimately end up changing over to playing for real cash in a short period of time or when they win enough to get a taste for the real action or when they simply run out of play money and want a nice change with the possibilty for real gain, they could probably double the amount of cash they seize this time if not more.

The amount that they will probably manage to seize this time around would surely be more than last time but may not end up being as much as you would expect it to be purely because of the global financial crisis, Americans are not spending money on gambling and other luxuries these days because of the current economic crisis that many of them face, many people have lost their jobs and simply put cannot afford to be spending their money on anything apart from their rent and their bills and food, some can't even afford the bills any more and have taken to living with family members in an effort for them all to save some money, so although the gambling industry did gain in popularity since then the additional seized funds may not be as high in amount as we may think it will be.

I think that even though there has been a downfall in many differnt industries due to the economic crisis it may not have really decreased the revenues of online casinos and poker rooms. The revenues of on land casinos and poker rooms may have decreased but that is a different kind of ball game to the online ones. People can log on to an online gambling site simply on a whim at any time of the day or night and on any day or night of the week that they choose where as with on land casinos they have trading hours to deal with and also added money that they need to spend. Indeed, maybe some people have changed from going to brick and mortar casinos to instead use the online ones to save money and still get to gamble.

They could make heaps of money out of these online gambling website fund seizures. There are thousands, if not millions, of online gambling sites and plenty of them that accept players from the United states of america. Will they be taking the funds from the sites that have accepted funds and players from the United States of America in general or will they be taking funds from just the sites that accepted funds and players from the United States of America in the states where onling poker and online gambling is considered to be illegal? Either way that is going to be a heap of money to seize. I am sure that they will get mroe this time than what they did last time due to the increasing boom in the online gambling industry.

They will make millions from the seizures easily. No matter how many sites they choose to punish there is millions of dollars there waiting to be seized. There are hundreds of thousands of Americans who gamble online on a daily basis and even if these players only spend $20 a week on the gambling site and there are for example two hundred and fifty thousand Americans gambling online on these sites then that is 5000000 dollars just sitting there waiting to be seized by the authorities. Would be a great way to help the economy recover if they were to give half back to the people and the other half of the seized funds became the property of the government. Would help ease the financial burdens currently facing the country and may even help to lift America out of recession if only just a little.

They will be able to seize plenty of money from these websites. Do they seize the entire amount of money that they have gotten from American players or will they just be seizing the funds that are currently held by these gambling websites that are in the gambling accounts of these sites of the American players? If they are taking all funds from deposits made to the site from a certain date onwards they will be getting huge amounts of cash easily in the hundreds of millions or billions. This goes to show just how much money there is to be made in online poker and gambling and the government should allow it because they could get the economy to a much better place if they do so, I think that they should consider allowing it and regulating and taxing it, obviously there is money to be made.

Plenty of money just sitting there waiting to be seized by the American government. If they were to legalize and regulate and tax online gambling in america and they got the revenue they got from doing so and combined it with the money they will be getting from these seizures then they could probably find america to be in a much better financial position and a heap of a way out of the economic crisis currently gripping the nation. Would be a good idea even though it would spark much debate and controversy. Hey , some places have legal brothels, why not legalise online poker? It is about time we got with the times.
