Yes it is amazing how much progress you see the new faces to poker making throughout the course of the year. It is also some what of an inspiration to watch them get better and better over time, to see them when they have just started in the game and to watch them as they learn new skills and employ new strategies into their game play. It is like watching them evolve from some what timid and wide eyed poker players to aggressive and sneaky and very talented poker professionals. They do deserve everything that they get from playing poker though because they sure as hell do put in a lot of effort in order to make names for themselves. Both the world series of poker and the world poker tour are huge poker events that anyone would be proud of being a part of.

The world poker tour and the world series of poker are my two favourite poker events of the year, granted that they actually run for a period of time that ends up occupying the majority of the year lol but they are my favourite. It is amazing to see the tournaments go from so many entrants at the beginning and to slowly get knocked down to just a few towards the end of the year and then to finally see someone named the winner. If i was a pro poker player in one of these tournaments that last over such a long span of time i would be thinking about nothing but poker the whole time lol making sure that i kept my head in the game. One thing that these players in these tournaments have is a whole heap of patience and perserverance.
