There are so many different things happening in the upcoming year in the poker world. This past year has been abosolutely astounding with the year seeing such a surge in the popularity of poker and so many great new fresh players coming out of the works. No doubt that 2010 will be a great one for poker enthusiasts all over the world, including of course the ever so popular world series of poker which is sure to please any poker player no matter whether they watch online, on television or in person, even better for those who are actually involved in the world series of poker on a competitive level. November 2010 will be here before we know it and we'll be all sitting on the edge of our seats to see who wins, maybe the record for age will be broken again? Third time in a row is a charm maybe?

It definatley is a possibility that this coming year the world series of poker will have the record of youngest player broken again. With each year that passes by, the game of poker is growing increasingly popular amongst people of all ages but especially the younger generations because of the success of these young players who go on to become champions. It seems that the World Series of Poker is just getting better year after year and it is a trend that looks like it will keep going like this. I can't wait for the action to start.

As if the World Series of Poker for 2009 wasn't packed with enough excitement as it was we now have the World Series of Poker for 2010 to be looking forward to, it is going to be really good and full of edge of your seat style action. Will everything that happened in this years World series of Poker i am more than certain that this year will manage to be bigger and better even though that may not even seem possible. Will the crown of the youngest world series of poker champion be handed over yet again to another player even younger than cada? Who knows! But i definately will be watching just to find out. One day i hope to get good enough to at least be somewhere in the World series of Poker, i don't care if i win or not, just the experience of participating will be good enough for me, anything after that is just a bonus.

The wait is finally over when it comes to waiting to find out what will be happening and when. Now that it is over in that respect we now will begin the harder wait, the long wait for the action to begin. Although the beginning of the action is not all that far away it feels like forever when you are waiting for something that you are really looking forward from. You sit there counting the days as they go by counting down how much longer you have to wait, and each and every day seems to drag on forever, especially the closer we get to the time when all of the events are about to start. Looks like it is going to be an awesome event and i for one can not wait for the fun to begin.

May is still quite a few months away yet so it is good that there are still plenty of other tournaments happening in the poker world between now and then to keep us occupied and entertained otherwise it would be a long wait full of anticipation. The World Series of poker is the biggest event in poker for the year as far as i am concerned. Of course there are other events that take place but this is the one that i enjoy the most, and it goes for two whole months which is alot longer than plenty of other tournaments that take place. We will also get to see if cada has his crown of youngest world series of poker champ taken from him and handed over to another younger champion for 2010.

Bring in the new year at the stroke of midnight is so much more than saying happy new year and making resolutions that, well let’s face it, most of us do not even end up keeping. It is about much more than that for the poker playing enthusiasts, it is about bringing in a new year of poker events and action, about seeing new records being made and old records being broken, the world series of poker event for 2010 is going to be nothing short of phenomenal as far as i am concerned, just going over the program i see that there is plenty of action on the way for us and i know that there is no way that poker fans will be disappointed with this years world series of poker.

There are two events that are held every single year that have all the poker world in a state of anticipation, these two highly loved and watched events are the world series of poker and the world poker tour and i would have to say that this year really does look as though it will be a great year for the both of them. The world series of poker is one of very few events that take place in any sport or game in the world that can actually keep viewers and enthusiasts entertained for months on end. Many other events only happen for a month or two at the most but the world series of poker lasts for around half the year which is something that the players at the end should take pride in.

Yes the poker pro players that manage to make it right towards near the end of the world series of poker, the players who become members of the November nine, have plenty to be proud of, they have spent around those six months of their lives playing hard and working towards a goal that they all share in common, the goal to win the world series of poker for the year and have the title of the world series of poker champion. Some professional poker players are even so good at their game that they manage to claim the title more than just one year, for these players there is no doubt that they are very skilled in what they do.

I never miss a world series of poker tournament, i have been watching it on the tv for as long as i can remember. My father used to sit me down to watch it with him over a big bowl of buttered popcorn and he has since passed on, now i follow the tradition and continue it with my daughter, she sits with me and we watch the world series of poker on the tele and i have a big bowl of popcorn whilst she has herself a bowl of cheese and onion potato crisps since she doesn’t really like popcorn. She really enjoys poker and tells me on a regular basis that one day i will be sitting at the casino watching her play in the world series of poker, every time she says that i tell her that nothing would make me prouder, i have to admit that she plays a mean game of poker too, she is ruthless, i have not been able to defeat her yet and im not even trying to just do the dad thing and let her win lol.

Yes see, that is one of the ways that poker can actually bring people together. I have managed to make some really good friends and all of them i met in some way or another through poker. I met some whilst playing poker in a casino, i met others through purchasing poker chip sets from them, i met others at tournaments and other poker related events, it is a very social game that we can all get together and play and enjoy ourselves. We all encourage one another to win and that is one of the beautiful things about the game, we are not rude to one another, we are very accepting and friendly and i feel that the great attitudes that seem to go with the people that play poker are what helps to make the game so great to be a part of.
